16488-oriental-art--in-turin Casa Dolcetto recommends a visit next month to Turin. The 5th December 2008, sees the opening of the Museo d’Arte Orientale at the Palazzo Mazzonis.

Fifteen hundred works will be on display in the new museum dedicated to the art and culture of Asian countries, which provides space for Asia’s most important cultural and artistic traditions as an acompliment to the important pre-existing collections in various public and private institutions in Turin. The five cultural areas, which are divided into different galleries are dedicated to geographical regions such as South East Asia, the Himalayas, the Islamic Regions of the Near and Middle East as well as the Far East.
