In Piazza San Giovanni sits the Duomo Di San Giovanni, Turin's only example of Renaissance architecture. Commissioned by Cardinal Domenico della Rovere, it was designed by a Tuscan architect, Meo del Caprina da Settignano and has a particularly fine façade. Adjacent, towers the 60 metre Campanile di San Giovanni, which built some 30 years before the cathedral itself.
